About me

For 15 years, I provided massage services to residents at a local nursing home. Giving the gift of massage, to a resident who was in the active stage of dying, was how my journey would begin; I just didn’t know it yet.

Over the years, my massage routine morphed to include Reiki and then shifted into incorporating certain music to attain the energetic goal of helping one’s soul more easily leave the physical body, and raise the vibration of the space so Spirit could more easily come in, to bring Soul Home. 

It wasn’t until many years later, while watching a TV show, that I learned the term “Death Doula.“ I quickly did some research, and within three weeks, I was enrolled in the Conscious Dying Institute’s next term. I knew, from the depths of my being, the progression of becoming a Death Doula was my next great journey in life.
